Pat Mills the godfather of British comics in 1995 broke into the French market by teaming up with fantasy artist Olivier Ledroit to create Sha.

In medieval France, Lara, a young witch is tortured and burnt at the stake. As she dies she vows vengeance on her persecutors. A thousand years later in the futuristic city of New Eden the mysterious Sha tracks down and kills their reincarnations. Inspector Duffy is assigned to capture Sha but she's puzzled as to why she feels a strange connection to the killer.
